The British authorities did not inform the Russian Embassy about the presence of Russian citizens on board the two vessels that collided in the North Sea. This was announced on March 12 by the Russian diplomatic mission.

"Since then, no information has been received from the local authorities about the presence of Russian citizens on board these vessels, as well as about other Russians injured in this accident," the ministry said.

According to the Russian diplomat, the embassy has been monitoring the situation caused by the collision of two vessels in the North Sea from the very beginning.

On March 10, a tanker and a cargo ship collided off the northeast coast of England. According to the Reuters news agency, a helicopter, an airplane, rescue boats, and vessels equipped with fire extinguishing equipment were sent to the incident area. As a result of the incident, 32 people were injured, Sky News noted.
