Bus traffic was restricted in the Eastern Administrative District due to snow and ice

In the EAO, buses were banned in three directions at once. The restrictions came into effect from 11 a.m. on March 12.

According to IA EAOmedia, with reference to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, the reason for the restrictions was the deterioration of weather conditions, snowfall and the formation of ice.

The movement of buses has been stopped in the directions of Birobidzhan – Obluchye, Birobidzhan – Ungun – Leninskoye and Birobidzhan – Amurzet.

Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, predicted an average temperature increase of 25 degrees in the Urals and Siberia by the end of the week. In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug on March 12-13, the temperature will be 7-13 degrees below normal, the values will be in the range of 25-35 degrees below zero, but by the end of this week a noticeable increase is expected and the temperature will be about -10 degrees, the forecaster noted.
