Khabarovsk Territory increased production of semi-finished meat products

Since the beginning of 2025, the production of semi-finished meat products has increased by 10% in the Khabarovsk Territory. This was facilitated by the development of new types of products, the expansion of sales markets and the geography of supplies.
The regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food told IA AmurMedia that 29 meat processing enterprises are currently operating in the region. They produce more than 300 types of sausage products, semi-finished products and meat delicacies. 10-15 new products appear every year.
According to Svetlana Abdalova, head of the Department of Food and Processing Industry of the Ministry of Agriculture, local enterprises are introducing new types of products, and thus increase customer demand. For their part, the authorities are working with retail chains, organizing trips to stores to help businesses get into retail chains.
The region has also launched the "farm islands" project, which allows local farmers to present products in retail chains. Small and medium-sized businesses are provided with a preferential loan for the development of production. The promotion of local manufacturers in the region is also carried out with the help of the brand "Made in Khabarovsk Krai". Its goal is to increase the recognition of regional enterprises not only within the region, but also beyond its borders.
Earlier it was reported that farms and agricultural organizations increased the production of vegetables and potatoes in 2024 in the Khabarovsk Territory. The harvest of outdoor vegetables amounted to almost 14 thousand tons. This is 23% more than in 2023. In addition, 13.2 thousand tons of potatoes and 3.6 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables and herbs were harvested. The growth was 11% and 20%, respectively.
