Russia is not ready to compromise on the conflict in Ukraine, which will endanger people's lives. This was announced on March 12 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with American bloggers Andrew Napolitano, Larry Johnson and Mario Naufalu, published on the Foreign Ministry's website.

"In the context of this particular crisis, we know what needs to be done to avoid compromise that would endanger people's lives," he said.

According to the Foreign Minister, the priority for the Russian side is to protect people from the Kiev regime, who have been "deprived of history." He also denied the statement that Russia is allegedly playing a "dishonest game" to resolve the conflict.

Earlier, on March 10, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the United States expects negotiations with Ukraine to demonstrate that the country's representatives are willing to make peace. According to him, it is very important to determine whether the Ukrainian authorities themselves really want peace.
