The Kingdom of Bahrain has received the status of a guest country at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025 (SPIEF), which will be held from June 18 to 21.

Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee, noted: "In recent years, Russia and Bahrain have significantly strengthened economic cooperation by developing partnerships in key areas such as energy, high technology, logistics and tourism. The countries are actively working to expand trade and economic cooperation and create joint projects in various fields.

SPIEF is an important platform for dialogue between governments, businesses and experts. In recent years, the Gulf States have been actively using the Forum to build mutually beneficial cooperation, and Bahrain is a prime example of such interaction. Awarding the Kingdom the status of a SPIEF 2025 guest country opens up new prospects for deepening economic ties, strengthening partnerships in strategic sectors and reaching a qualitatively new level of cooperation."

"Relations between Bahrain and Russia continue to develop actively in the cultural and humanitarian fields. Bahrain has chosen the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum as an important platform for presenting our business, culture and tourism to the Russian audience. We expect the active participation of high–profile official delegations and leading Bahraini companies, and we are confident of successfully expanding our presence in Russia, continuing to develop our cooperation at all levels," said Ahmed Al-Saati, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation.

The National Pavilion of Bahrain will become a central platform for the presentation of the country's investment potential, as well as for establishing contacts with business partners and sharing experiences with experts. The Forum participants will be able to learn more about the possibilities of cooperation, especially in the field of tourism and cultural exchanges.
