Lada Vesta cars with a new six-speed manual transmission began to appear in car dealerships. Dealers in St. Petersburg are already handing out cars to customers, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported on March 12.

According to Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, Lada Vesta in this modification can take about 50% of sales in the model range with 1.8-liter engines.

A sedan with such a transmission costs from 1.8 million rubles. The Cross version will cost at least 1.91 million, the SW station wagon — 1.93 million, and the SW Cross modification — 2.03 million rubles.

With the advent of the new modification, the range of Vesta powertrains has increased to four versions. In addition to the new 1.8 Evo engine and six-speed mechanics, the 1.6 engine and five-speed mechanics (from 1.53 million rubles), 1.6 engine and automatic (from 1.58 million rubles) and 1.8 Evo engine with automatic (from 1.8 million rubles) are installed on the cars.

Earlier on March 4, auto experts said that the Haval Jolion crossover with a 143-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine and a six-speed manual transmission, which costs 2.05 million rubles, would become a competitor for the Vesta with six-speed mechanics. Another option is a larger Haval M6 with a similar powerplant for 1.93 million rubles.
