Sobyanin spoke about the appearance of the Boulevard General Karbyshev metro station

The design of the Boulevard General Karbyshev metro station in Moscow will be dedicated to various areas of combat work of the engineering troops. Its appearance will be dominated by light gray and white tones, and the name will be highlighted in large letters on a contrasting background, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his official Telegram channel.

Artistic bas-reliefs will be placed on the columns of the platform. The main role will be played by light — LED structures will emphasize the details of the interior and provide comfortable lighting.

As of today, the station is 43% ready. The main monolithic structures of the station complex and turnaround dead ends are currently being built.

General Karbyshev Boulevard will reduce the distance to the metro for residents of the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district, relieve the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line, and reduce traffic intensity along Zvenigorodskoye and Novorizhskoye highways.
