In the Republic of Tuva, a two-year-old girl died after an accident with boiling water. This was announced on March 11 by the republican SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"On March 10, 2025, the law enforcement agencies of the city of Kyzyl received a message about the death of a two-year—old girl in the intensive care unit of the republican hospital," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that on March 7, children aged 2 and 3 were in a private house under the supervision of a pensioner. After she left the house, the children knocked over an electric stove and a pot of soup standing on it.

As a result, a two-year-old girl was hospitalized with thermal burns. She's dead. The second child received the necessary medical care. His health is not in danger.

On November 29, 2024, a source from Izvestia reported that a 69-year-old woman died in Vladivostok after falling into boiling water in her yard in mid-November. According to the source, the woman had burns to her torso, arms and legs — only 50% of her body.
