An explosion occurred at a biotech company in China, killing four people and injuring four others. This was reported on March 12 by the Sing Tao Daily newspaper.

On March 6, one person died in Japan due to an explosion at the Chuo Spring plant. Two more men received minor injuries. 19 pieces of equipment were used to fight the fire, and the fire was extinguished about three hours after it occurred.
