In Yekaterinburg, 20 people were hospitalized from a dormitory with poisoning.


A mass poisoning occurred in the dormitory of the specialized educational and scientific center of the Ural Federal University of Yekaterinburg (UrFU), 20 people were hospitalized. This was announced on March 12 by the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region.
"A massive disease has been registered, according to preliminary data, acute gastroenteritis. 27 students aged 16-18 applied for medical help," the department's Telegram channel says.
Five emergency medical teams are working on site, as well as an infectious disease specialist at the territorial disaster medicine center. The causes of poisoning are being clarified.
Earlier, on March 7, it was reported that schoolchildren from Krasnoarmeysk were poisoned with crab-flavored soy meat in the afternoon, and a teacher also had an allergic reaction. A criminal case has been opened into the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
