In Pakistan, security forces have released 155 hostages taken by armed militants on a train. Geo TV channel reported about it on March 12.

"Security forces have successfully freed 155 hostages and eliminated 27 terrorists who hijacked the Jaffar express in the Bolan district of Balochistan," the material says.

It is also reported that 17 released hostages were taken to the hospital for emergency medical treatment.

In addition, security sources said that the hostage rescue operation was ongoing. According to them, the terrorists used the passengers of the train as human shields. They added that due to the presence of hostages, the rescue operation is being conducted with extreme caution.

On March 11, the Daily Mail newspaper reported an attack by armed militants on a train in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. They took more than 450 passengers hostage and also injured the driver. Later it became known that the security forces had rescued 80 hostages, including 26 women and 11 children.
