US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, was suspended from negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported on March 11 by the Politico newspaper, citing officials from the American administration.

It is clarified that at the moment, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Presidential National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and representative of the American leader in the Middle East Stephen Witkoff are most actively involved in the negotiations.

"As an example, we can cite the current negotiations between Americans and Ukrainians in Saudi Arabia: why is Trump's special representative for Ukraine not participating in negotiations with Ukraine?" the newspaper said.

In addition, the article clarifies that at the moment Kellogg is under the supervision of the administration of the American leader, his role in the Trump team is not clear.

On March 10, Bloomberg correspondent Anna Maria Hordern reported on Witkoff's possible visit to the Russian capital. She said that Trump's special envoy plans to visit Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
