The White House appreciated the negotiations with representatives of Ukraine

US President Donald Trump put Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky in his place and explained to him that Washington is serious about a long-term peace agreement on Ukraine. This was announced on March 11 by White House press Secretary Carolyn Levitt on Fox News channel.
"He [Trump] is the chief negotiator, and he put Zelensky in his place and told him that the Americans are serious about a long-term peace agreement. And we are very, very pleased with the deal we made with the Ukrainians today. And we hope that it will last a long time. That's President Trump's goal," she said.
