The Mi-35M crew destroyed a stronghold and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk border region

An army aviation crew on a Mi-35M helicopter destroyed manpower and a stronghold of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the pilots performed tasks to support units of the North group of forces. After detecting the enemy, the crew launched missiles at the specified coordinates. The advanced aviation gunner confirmed the destruction of the targets.

In order to remain safe, the crew performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps that prevent missiles from the enemy's man-portable air defense system (MANPADS).

The destruction of infrastructure seriously undermines the work of the enemy's military-industrial complex, experts believe.

The day before, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) destroyed a stronghold and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border area of the Kursk region. It is specified that the strike was carried out by bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC). After the successful attack, the crew returned to the departure airfield.
