The Russian Embassy pointed to staged actions in support of Ukraine in Sweden

The actions in support of Ukraine in Sweden, conducted with enviable regularity by anti-Russian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Ukrainian associations, are mostly not very widespread. Their organizers manage to ensure a significant "turnout" only on the anniversary of the beginning of the Russia's military operation. The Russian Embassy in Stockholm told Izvestia about this.

Western allies may try to strengthen Kiev's position with the help of mercenaries.

"It is clear that such actions are largely orchestrated, the motives of most of their regulars are far from ideological, and attention to such "theatrical performances" is artificially inflated by the local biased press to reinforce the controversial thesis about the supposedly unwavering support for the pro—Kiev course of official Stockholm in Swedish society," the diplomatic mission noted.

The embassy added that the actions take place both at the central venues of the Swedish capital and in front of the Russian Embassy with the approval of the authorities.

"Prominent representatives of the local political establishment are invited as speakers, who in every possible way signal their solidarity with the Kiev regime. There are separate performances in other cities of Sweden," the diplomats said.
