The bill on financing the US government until September 30, 2025 was approved by the House of Representatives of the US Congress. The session of the lower house of the American legislature was broadcast on its website.

The majority of congressmen supported this project. It allows US to increase defense spending by $6 billion. This initiative will also reduce non-defense spending by $13 billion.

In addition, the bill aims to increase funding for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the amount of $ 485 million and defense programs for the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons by $ 185 million. In addition, $1.4 billion will have to be allocated for the US Army Corps of Engineers.

The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote on the bill by March 14. If it is finally adopted, it will help to avoid a shutdown that may occur in the country in the near future.

On March 8, American leader Donald Trump supported a bill to continue financing the work of the country's federal government, which was proposed in Congress by members of the Republican Party. According to him, representatives of the Democratic Party this time will try to do "everything in their power" not to coordinate the project.
