Snowdrops began to bloom en masse in Moscow. This was announced on Tuesday, March 11, by the press service of the Moscow Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection in the Telegram channel.

The flowers were recorded in places with the most stable snow cover — in the urban forests of Izmailovo and Bitsevsky Forest, the Moscow City News agency reports.

Since January, citizens have noticed isolated cases of snowdrops blooming near artificial heat sources. Now the sun has sufficiently warmed the earth and started the process of revitalizing the flora.

On March 6, lawyer Anastasia Bilyalova, in an interview with Moscow 24, warned that for collecting, selling and buying snowdrops, you can get a large fine — for individuals it ranges from 2.5 to 5 thousand rubles, for officials — from 15 to 20 thousand.
