- The source spoke about the role of the United States in the agreement between Damascus and the Kurds.

The agreement between the Kurdish "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) and the official Syrian government in Damascus on integration into state institutions was developed after meetings with the American side. A Kurdish source told Izvestia about this.
"An American Apache helicopter delivered a delegation of the SDF led by Mazlum Abdi to Damascus. The agreement is based on a document signed in February," the source said.
He added that its development took place after a number of meetings with the US military.
Earlier on March 10, following a meeting between Syrian leader Ahmad Al-Sheraa and SDF commander Mazlum Abdi, an agreement was reached that includes the integration of all civilian and military structures in northeastern Syria into the country's government structures. This applies to border crossings, airports, oil and gas fields and bases.
According to sources of the Syria TV channel, the agreement was reached against the background of signals from the United States about its readiness to withdraw troops from Syria.
