The ministry noted the actions of Corporal Denis Prokofiev, who, as part of the logistics brigade, transported supplies to the positions of Russian units engaged in fierce battles with the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

During heavy artillery fire at the line of contact, Prokofiev skillfully maneuvered the car in a difficult area. During the movement, after another explosion, the car's tire was punctured, after which, under artillery fire, Prokofiev replaced the wheel as soon as possible. After removing the car from the impact, he promptly delivered ammunition to the advancing Russian units.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the merits of Private Vitaly Kharaponov, who, as part of the artillery crew, knocked out the enemy from fortified positions. The enemy, unwilling to accept the lost positions, requested reinforcements to organize a counterattack. Kharaponov received coordinates from the reconnaissance group about the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, preparing to move to reinforce the retreating militants. He accurately calculated the firing settings, made timely and accurate adjustments for the gun, and completed the firing task of disrupting the enemy's counterattack.

During the artillery strike, Vitaly Kharaponov's calculation destroyed the main part of the armored vehicles and manpower of the Ukrainian militants, which made it impossible for the enemy to bring reserves into battle, which led to the disruption of the counterattack.
