Media reported on the rescue of 80 train hostages in Pakistan


Security forces rescued 80 hostages taken by armed militants on a train in Pakistan, Geo News TV channel reported on March 11, citing security sources.
Among the rescued are 26 women and 11 children. At the moment, security forces are continuing the operation to rescue other hostages, and the ring around the terrorists is narrowing, the publication says.
According to the channel's sources, the militants who staged the attack are in touch with the organizer in Afghanistan, using women and children as human shields.
On March 11, the Daily Mail newspaper reported an attack by armed militants on a train in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. They took more than 450 passengers hostage and also injured the driver.
Six soldiers were killed, and members of the security forces are also among the hostages. At the same time, the militants stated that they had freed Baluch women, children and passengers from captivity.
