Truck traffic will be restricted in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District from April 15

Restrictions on the movement of freight transport will be introduced in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District from April 15. Such measures are taken to preserve roads during the spring thaw, as well as the summer heat.

Until May 14, the restriction is in effect on public roads of regional and inter-municipal significance for vehicles with axle loads exceeding the maximum permissible. From June 1 to August 31, the restriction will be in effect on roads with asphalt pavement, writes the news agency " <url>". At temperatures above +32 degrees, heavy vehicles will be allowed from 21:00 to 9:00.

The restriction is introduced on the roads of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District annually. The government recalled that on days when restrictions apply, drivers need to obtain a special permit from the Monitoring Center for the Safe Operation of Highways.
