A jousting tournament will be reconstructed at the cinema exits in Moskino

The historical reconstruction of the "Knight's Tournament in Novgorod" will be held at the Moskino Film Park as part of the film exits on March 15 and 16. The guests will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of medieval battles, the organizers said.
On Saturday and Sunday, a general parade will take place in the decorations of Cathedral Square, followed by a mock knight's battle, in which from 50 to 200 reenactors will take part — not only from Moscow, but also from the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Vladimir, Samara and Cheboksary.
In addition, on the territory of the film park, those who wish will be able to take part in master classes and authentic interactive events at 20 specially equipped locations.
In the "Weapons Workshop" you can learn about the creation of ancient weapons, in the "Forge" you can learn the basics of blacksmithing, and in the "Calligraphy" master class you can learn the techniques of calligraphic writing. Guests will also play various board games, learn the secrets of tanners, listen to the music of ancient Russia and try their hand at the traditional craft of coinage.
Various games, fencing and woodworking lessons were prepared for the visitors, a candle workshop, workshops on fabric coloring and bone carving were organized. Those who wish will be able to get acquainted with the differences of the knightly orders, as well as taste the dishes of the ancestral cuisine.
In addition, an interactive quest "Novgorod Adventures" awaits the guests during the film release. Visitors are invited to participate in a meeting of the European embassy in Russia, reconcile the quarreling prince with his beloved boyar and learn about the way of life and customs of that time.
