Avangard wins 12th consecutive KHL title

Avangard Omsk continued their series of victories in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), defeating Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. The game took place on March 11 in Omsk and ended with a score of 4:3

Danil Bashkirov, Alex Grant, Semyon Chistyakov and Vladimir Tkachev scored for Avangard, who scored the winning goal in his first match after a long break due to injury.

Daniil Bokun, Nikita Artamonov and Kirill Kirsanov scored goals for Torpedo.

With this victory, Avangard scored 82 points and moved up to third place in the KHL Eastern Conference. Torpedo is in eighth position in the Western table with 71 points. Both clubs have already secured a place in the playoffs.
