Having made his debut ten years ago in the teen drama "14+" directed by Andrey Zaitsev, Gleb Kalyuzhny is one of the most sought—after young actors today. His filmography includes "Difficult Teenagers", "Vampires of the Middle lane", "Black Spring", "Talkers". In the first two months of 2025 alone, it was expanded with two new large-scale premieres — the historical drama Chelyuskin. The First" and the action-packed detective film "Red Silk". There are a number of other projects ahead, but their fate raises questions in light of reports that while the actor was in the service of art, a case was opened against him for evading military service and he may soon go to repay his debt to his Homeland.

Among the upcoming projects with Gleb Kalyuzhny, information about which is publicly available, is the concert film Zhvanetsky. On the screen are the best monologues of the famous author performed by Russian artists, including Yuri Stoyanov, Sergey Makovetsky, Igor Zolotovitsky, Ilya Sobolev, Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Pavel Derevyanko and others. The movie premiere is scheduled for May 15th. In the film by Artem Mikhalkov, Gleb Kalyuzhny plays a young blockade runner, Yuri Tyukalov, who, after the war, devotes himself to a sports career and prepares for the Olympics in Helsinki. The Star Media and Central Partnership film companies did not respond to Izvestia about whether filming was completed.

In August 2024, it became known about the start of filming of the crime comedy Libido directed by Denis Pavlov, which also included Gleb Kalyuzhny. This is a full-length spin-off of the TV series "Max and the Goose" and "Zema 3". In the center of the plot is the heiress of a criminal business, played by Nastasia Samburskaya, who finds herself embroiled in dangerous intrigues in the struggle for the cabaret club she owns. The premiere date is still unknown, as well as the production status of the project. Izvestia sent a request to the Cinema Universe film company, but had not received a response at the time of publication.

Another future project with Gleb Kalyuzhny is the novel "Unholy Valentine". The film tells about a girl who becomes allergic to love. Andrey Panteleev, director of the film and CEO of Fenix Cinema, responsible for the production, assured that the filming process had been completed a long time ago.

— They've already taken everything off. Gleb completed his work on the project, he finished back in February. We have everything shot, everything is fine, post—production," he told Izvestia.

At the same time, another interlocutor of Izvestia from the industry noted that the work of an artist in any project, as a rule, is not limited to filming. After that, his participation is necessary in the dubbing just at the stage of postproduction and in the marketing campaign, which is usually stipulated by the contract. In addition, some movies and TV series may require additional filming.

Izvestia also sent requests to domestic online cinemas about the availability of projects with Gleb Kalyuzhny in production, but streaming preferred to refrain from comments.

What threatens Gleb Kalyuzhny

According to Izvestia, the case against Gleb Kalyuzhny was initiated under Part 1 of Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Evasion from military and alternative civilian service") on March 6, 2025. According to investigators, the actor received a summons and was supposed to appear at the military enlistment office in October 2024, but "deliberately did not do so, without having valid reasons and grounds for postponement and exemption from military service."

Immediately after it became known about the initiation of the case, the actor, accompanied by representatives, appeared at the investigative department. Responsibility under the article provides for punishment up to imprisonment for up to two years.

— This crime belongs to the category of minor severity. Based on the criminal law, if a person is brought to criminal responsibility for the first time, then the punishment in the form of imprisonment is not applied. In practice, in this category of cases, punishment is most often not associated with imprisonment. For example, a fine is often imposed," Evgeny Rosenblat, a lawyer at the Moscow bar Association Aronov & Partners and head of the complex litigation practice, explained to Izvestia.

The amount of punishment, the expert added, can be influenced by different circumstances — the person who is being prosecuted, her financial condition and marital status. Izvestia contacted a representative of the actor, but he left the situation "without comment." The spring draft begins on April 1, 2025.
