- The XX All–Russian Forum "The Health of the Nation - the basis of Russia's Prosperity" will be held on May 14-16

Moscow is preparing to host the XX anniversary All–Russian Forum "National Health - the basis of Russia's Prosperity", which will be held on May 14-16, 2025 at the Gostiny Dvor exhibition complex. The Forum will become a central platform for discussing new national projects aimed at increasing life expectancy and creating conditions for active longevity.
At the last meeting of the Forum's Organizing Committee, Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Albertovich Murashko stressed that the launched national projects, for which the state allocates more than 2 trillion rubles, require maximum information openness and public attention.
"It is important for us not only to demonstrate successes in the field of medicine and technology, but also to involve public organizations that form a culture of healthy lifestyle, because the difference in life expectancy between regions reaches 13 years. At the same time, when talking about a healthy lifestyle, we should not just carry out the same thing throughout the country, but, in fact, form our own agenda for each region separately," the minister said.
Leo Antonovich Bokeria, President of the National Health League, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, noted the importance of the Forum as a leading public platform where the state and society are jointly looking for ways to solve key social problems, including supporting ITS participants, developing mass sports, preventing diseases and increasing fertility.
Special attention will be paid to the development of mass sports and physical activity, as stated by Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Fetisov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs: "Physical education and sports should become a natural part of the life of every child, student and adult. This requires an effective interagency program that will combine the efforts of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Education."
Deputy Minister of Health Evgenia Grigorievna Kotova also stressed that the formation of healthy habits in children requires the complex work of several departments.
"The forum is an opportunity to develop and promote specific mechanisms of interaction," she said.
Russian regions will be widely represented at the Forum, which will demonstrate successful practices in creating a health-saving environment, improving school and children's nutrition, digitalizing healthcare, as well as programs for rehabilitation and social support of citizens, including participants in their own.
The Executive Directorate of the Forum invites government authorities, public organizations, representatives of the scientific community and business structures to actively participate and cooperate.
