Szijjarto announced the suspension of oil supplies from the Russian Federation due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on Druzhba

Oil supplies from the Russian Federation to Hungary have been suspended due to an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Druzhby measuring station. This was announced on March 11 by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto.

In a video message posted on his Facebook (owned by the recognized extremist Meta company, its activities are banned in the Russian Federation), Szijjarto stressed that Budapest regards Kiev's attack on the infrastructure critical for Hungarian energy supply as an attack on its sovereignty.

He also added that oil supplies to Hungary via Druzhba could resume after repairs by Tuesday evening.
