A man died in a fire in a private house in Kamchatka.

In the Yelizovsky district of the Kamchatka Territory, a man died as a result of a fire in a private house. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region reports this in its Telegram channel.

The fire occurred on Tuesday morning, March 11, in the village of Novy. A one-story house with many outbuildings caught fire on Sportivnaya Street.

"The first fire and rescue units were on site within five minutes. However, due to the late report of the fire, by that time the residential building was already ablaze," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

During the extinguishing of the fire, a man's body was found in the house. According to the regional Investigative Committee, this is a 43-year-old landlord. The agency has organized an investigation into the death of a person, according to the results of which a decision will be made on the initiation of a criminal case.

According to the KamchatkaMedia news agency, experts are considering several versions of the fire, including a violation of the rules for the installation and operation of the furnace or an emergency operation of the power grid / electrical equipment. The exact cause of the fire is being determined.
