The stylist talked about ways to combine jewelry in images.

Jewelry always becomes the main accent in any image. Ekaterina Fomina, stylist of the 585*Golden brand, told Izvestia on March 15 how to wear and combine them correctly.
"Accent decorations have long ceased to be an attribute of festive events. Layering and eclecticism are in fashion now. For example, massive hoop earrings can be safely worn during the day along with a cozy sweater and jeans. Or complement basic denim and knitwear with large bracelets. With them, even the most boring image will instantly become stylish and interesting. As references, you can take the casual outfits of Jennifer Lopez, who simply loves large accessories and wears them with a variety of wardrobe elements," she explained.
Also, some people believe that gold and silver should not be mixed. This is one of the most common misconceptions about the combination of jewelry, Fomina noted. The formula will help keep the balance: large gold accessories, minimalistic silver ones, and vice versa. This will help to avoid image overload. And clothes of calm tones will be an excellent background for mixing metals, it will help to keep attention on them.
The third myth is "diamonds are only for special occasions." According to the expert, they can be worn in everyday life, even though they are considered attributes of evening looks. She advised to be inspired by how stars such as Victoria Beckham and Hailey Bieber fit diamonds into everyday outfits.
"A diamond pendant on a thin chain or small studs will perfectly complement a business suit or casual look, while remaining a laconic detail. In addition, diamonds are easy to style. They perfectly match any shade of clothing and require no effort when choosing an outfit," explained Fomina.
According to the expert, many are also convinced that jewelry should supposedly be age-appropriate.
"If you like bright and extravagant jewelry, wear it no matter how old you are. Age is just a number, and style and taste are a personal matter. Take an example from the trendsetter and true virtuoso in jewelry combination, Iris Apfel. She loved wearing big earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings at the same time. There were no restrictions for her to express her personality," the stylist advised.
In addition, the expert also noted that sometimes people are afraid to wear colored stones in any season except summer. Colored stones such as emeralds, sapphires, rubies, topazes and amethysts have long been timeless classics. They can also be worn in the cold season, the main thing is to choose the shades correctly.
"Use bright stones against a background of neutral colors to make the image more expressive. For example, a black dress or suit can be enlivened with jewelry with rubies, emeralds or topaz, and a white outfit will perfectly emphasize turquoise, aquamarine or moonstone. Monochrome ensembles are also a win—win option: an outfit will always look spectacular with matching jewelry," said Fomina.
She added that modern fashion not only does not limit, but on the contrary, it calls for going beyond the limits and breaking the rules. The stylist called for experimentation and combining the incongruous.
On March 4, Fomina told Izvestia about how to emphasize dignity with jewelry. According to her, rings with elongated cut stones "radiant", "emerald" or "oval" will visually make the fingers longer. Large congo earrings or chain earrings will elongate the oval of the face, geometric shapes will give the face expressiveness and clarity, and a pendant on a chain from 45 cm will lengthen the neck and highlight the decollete area, Fomina noted.
