Putin called for raising the income level of the population in the Arkhangelsk region

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated the need to raise the income level of the Arkhangelsk Region's population and create comfortable living conditions in the region. The head of state said this on March 11 at a meeting with the governor of the region, Alexander Tsybulsky.

Putin noted that the outflow of population in the region continues, and stressed the importance of solving this problem. According to him, the region, which has historical significance, should provide residents with a decent standard of living.

The Head of State also pointed to an increase in the employment rate.

"This is a very good indicator and a prerequisite for the fact that income levels will rise gradually," Putin said.
