A teenager was admitted to intensive care due to a fall from a scooter in St. Petersburg.

A teenager from St. Petersburg fell off a scooter and ended up in intensive care. He suffered various head injuries, the 78 TV channel reported on Tuesday, March 11.

The incident occurred the night before. A 13-year-old boy was riding a scooter in the courtyard of a house on Iskrovsky Prospekt. At some point, the student inadvertently fell and hit his head hard on the asphalt.

The minor was taken to the hospital with an open TBI, brain contusion, fractured skull bones and other injuries. His condition is assessed as serious.

A similar incident occurred in St. Petersburg in the summer. A 10-year-old boy lost control of the scooter and fell into a ditch. The child died from his injuries.
