Vladislav Khovalyg, the Head of the Republic of Tyva, and Andrey Ryumin, CEO of PJSC ROSSETI, discussed the development of the region's energy complex and the work of Rosseti Siberia Tyvaenergo as a backbone territorial grid organization at a meeting in Moscow. This was reported by the Rosseti press service.

"Reliability and availability of energy supply are important indicators of quality of life. I thank the management of the ROSSETI Group for their support in this matter. At the meeting today, we discussed the implementation of the Comprehensive Energy Supply Plan for Tuva and priority measures for the repair of electrical networks received by Rosseti Siberia Tyvaenergo from January 2025 as a backbone territorial grid organization," Vladislav Khovalyg said.

Andrey Ryumin noted that the ROSSETI Group is completing work on several mainline facilities as part of a Comprehensive energy Supply Plan for Tuva investment projects. In particular, we are talking about increasing the transformer capacity of the 500 kV substation "Znannoe", which is involved in the supply of electricity to the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP and is part of the power ring supplying Tuva.

"One of the priorities is to connect to the mining network at the Ak—Sugskoye copper deposit, which is one of the largest in Russia. In addition, we are implementing several projects aimed at increasing the reliability of energy supply in Kyzyl and nearby areas," said Andrey Ryumin.

Among the promising tasks, he named an increase in the 220 kV transit capacity of Shushenskaya-Opornaya — Turan — Kyzylskaya with the construction of new transmission lines. The project includes the reconstruction of the 220 kV Turan substation, which provides electricity to the central and eastern regions of Tuva.
