The railway infrastructure of Domodedovo station was damaged


The railway infrastructure at Domodedovo station suffered minor damage as a result of a night attack by drones. This was announced on March 11 in the Telegram channel of the Moscow Railway (MZhD).
It is specified that no one was injured on the spot.
"As a result of the fall of the UAV debris, the railway infrastructure at Domodedovo station suffered minor damage. <...> Currently, train traffic through the station is carried out at an extended interval. In this regard, a number of trains towards Moscow and the region are delayed on the way," the message says.
The Ministry of Railways added that experts are taking all necessary measures to normalize the timetable.
Later, the head of the Domodedovo City District announced that traffic had been fully restored.
"Train traffic has been restored. Additional buses to Moscow have been launched," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
On March 11, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported 69 downed drones flying towards the capital. The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, said that as a result of the attacks, one person was killed and three injured in the Moscow region.
