- Residents of the Sudzhansky district told about the looting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Residents of the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region told Izvestia how militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) broke into houses.
"They came, they took the car, they took the trailer. They took the weapon from the safe, my husband had it. We hid, we were afraid, they thought there was no one there. They broke down the doors, and we hid in the barn," said a local resident.
According to another woman, they were saved by the fact that there were no severe frosts. She added that there was no heater, stove, or firewood in the barn.
"It is clear that the houses are still smoking after the recent fighting. The farm has been completely cleared, and the troops have moved on," said correspondent Emil Timashev.
However, enemy shelling in the Sudzha district is still ongoing. Timashev also fell under one of them — he and the Russian military had to get to the shelter by car.
"I had to run, the shelling started, and they were already actively hitting with targeted fire," the journalist noted.
On March 9, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces spoke about their work to liberate the Sudzhansky district from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Having cut off the enemy from the supply route, the fighters block almost the entire area where several thousand Ukrainian militants may be located. It was noted that Russian units had already liberated the settlements of Staraya Sorochina, Nikolaevka and Viktorovka.
