As a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The power line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod region was damaged, 36 settlements were left without electricity. This was announced on March 11 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"The village of Krasnaya Yaruga was attacked by an enemy drone — the power line was damaged. 36 settlements in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district and the village of Ilek-Koshary and the Family farm in the Rakityansky district remain without electricity," the governor said in a Telegram message.
In addition, in the village of Maisky, Belgorod region, as a result of attacks by two FPV drones, the roofs of two private households were damaged. Residential buildings were also damaged in the villages of Nechayevka and Malinovka.
According to Gladkov, a fire broke out in a house in the city of Valuiki after a drone hit it. The source of the fire was promptly eliminated. In addition, a neighboring house, two private buildings and two cars were completely destroyed.
The governor added that in the village of Murom in the Shebekinsky district, an APU UAV dropped an explosive object that destroyed the roof of one of the buildings. He also said that several munitions were dropped in the village of Dobroye in the Grayvoronsky district, which partially damaged a private house and four cars.
The day before, Gladkov reported that in the village of Krasnaya Yaruga, Belgorod region, an APU drone attacked a car, as a result of which a man was injured. It is specified that the vehicle was destroyed by fire.
