The calculation of the D-30 artillery piece of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a group of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was hiding in a fortified dugout in the Orekhovsky direction. This was announced on March 11 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that data on the location of the enemy's point was received and transmitted to the gunners by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The D-30 crew quickly moved to the firing position and fired at the discovered dugout, which was destroyed, and the Ukrainian militants who were in it were eliminated. As a result of the successful actions of the gunners, the Russian assault group managed to take a more advantageous position.

"Yes, we are providing fire support to our assault units, which are currently storming Oporniki...> The nature of the target is the enemy's manpower and fortified areas," said the commander of the calculation with the call sign Tuman.
