As a result of an accident with a tourist bus on the Mitla-Tehuantepec highway in the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico, 11 people were killed and 12 others were injured. This was reported on March 10 in the press service of the state government with reference to Governor Salomon Hara Cruz.

"He clarified that two people were delivered with a red code and 10 with a yellow code for medical care. <...> The state government regrets the deaths of 11 people," a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is specified that two people are in serious condition. All the injured have been hospitalized, and they are receiving the necessary assistance. The accident occurred due to the driver's loss of control, the press service noted. The vehicle fell into the abyss, the depth of which is 200 m.
