US President Donald Trump's special Envoy for the Middle East, Steven Witkoff, intends to visit Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on March 10 by Bloomberg correspondent Anna Maria Hordern.
"President Trump's representative in the Middle East, Steven Witkoff, plans to visit Moscow to meet with President Putin," the journalist said in a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 10 that Moscow was currently at the initial stage of its "restoration" of bilateral relations with Washington. According to him, there is a long way to go, but the presidents of the countries have expressed their political will in this direction.
