A crew member of the container ship Solong, which collided with an oil tanker off the northeast coast of England, is missing. This was reported on March 10 by Sky News TV channel with reference to the owner of the company that owns the container ship, Ernst Russ.

"According to the owner of the vessel, one of the 14 crew members of the Solong cargo ship has still not been found after today's accident with the tanker," the TV channel said.

The search for the missing sailor is currently ongoing. In addition, according to the owner, both vessels suffered "significant damage" in the collision. He also noted that as a result of the incident, a fire broke out on the ships.

A tanker and a cargo ship collided off the northeast coast of England on the afternoon of March 10. According to the Reuters news agency, a helicopter, an airplane, rescue boats and nearby vessels with fire extinguishing equipment were sent to the scene. Sky News reported that 32 people were injured as a result. Later, the TV channel announced the rescue of all 37 sailors on board the ships. At the same time, it was reported that the ship was carrying sodium cyanide.
