Degtyarev arrived in Sverdlovsk region on a working visit

On March 10, Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev arrived in the Sverdlovsk Region on a working visit and met with the governor of the region, Evgeny Kuyvashev.
The meeting discussed the development of physical culture and sports in the region, as well as plans for sporting events.

"Today we are witnessing a significant event — the opening of the largest indoor sports complex in the Ural region. This is not just a modern facility, but a new sports life center designed for 15,000 spectators. The multifunctional sports complex will host landmark international competitions, become the home venue for the Avtomobilist hockey club and the UMMC women's basketball club, and will also open up new opportunities for the development of hockey, figure skating, basketball and other sports, inspiring athletes to new achievements," the minister stressed.
As part of her working trip, Degtyareva will visit the Aquatics Palace on March 11 and attend the ceremony of awarding departmental awards to the Ministry of Sports of Russia.
