Vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis has started in Ussuriysk. Children, people over the age of 60, as well as citizens whose work involves visiting forests will be able to get vaccinated for free.

Vaccination is carried out in all structural divisions of the central city hospital. The drug EnceVir Neo is available for children. In addition, doctors use the Tick-E-Vak vaccine for adults and children. This is reported by the UssurMedia news agency.

Doctors note that timely vaccination will allow citizens to protect themselves from tick-borne encephalitis.

The tick season has already begun in Crimea and Sevastopol. Citizens have been contacting doctors with pest bites since the beginning of the year.
