A resident of Yakutia gave more than 7.3 million rubles to false brokers

In Yakutia, the police are conducting an investigation into fraud, as a result of which a 49-year-old man was injured. The victim lost 7.3 million rubles by trusting false brokers.
According to a resident of Mirny, he saw an advertisement for an investment platform on the Internet. He clicked on the link and left the contact details. The next day, the man received a call from an "analyst" who offered to open a brokerage account. The victim "invested" a small amount and received income. Then the man decided to invest a larger amount, he issued several loans and transferred over 7.3 million rubles to an outside account. This is reported by IA YakutiaMedia.
The police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
Over the past week, 12 residents of Yakutia have become victims of fraud. The total damage exceeded 21 million rubles.
