More than 22.9 thousand people fell ill with acute respiratory viral infections in Crimea in a week

Over the past week, more than 22.9 thousand residents of Crimea have contracted acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). This is reported by IA SevastopolMedia with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Children account for 47.6% of the incidence. 56 schools and 32 kindergartens of the republic have been quarantined. In addition, restrictions apply in 592 individual classes, as well as in 214 kindergarten groups.

By the end of the week, full-time studies will resume in eight schools in Sevastopol.

Last week, an increase in the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections was registered in a number of regions. The epidemic threshold has been exceeded in Bryansk, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Orel, Kursk and other cities.
