Russia is a fantastic country with great opportunities. This opinion was expressed on March 10 by the grandson of former French President General Charles de Gaulle, Pierre de Gaulle, in an interview with Izvestia.

"As for Russia, it is a fantastic country. This is a country that offers great opportunities. For me, this is a socio-economic model of stability and protection of fundamental values," he said.

Pierre de Gaulle highlighted the economic successes of the Russian state. In his opinion, the Russian Federation has successfully diversified its economy and achieved excellent growth rates. Russia combines these successes with great culture and deep sincerity of the people.

"And I'm proud of your model. My struggle is also to talk about Russia, about your people, and to explain what the Russian soul is. You are deep, sincere people, you don't like betrayal, you have a fantastic culture," he added.

France, according to Pierre de Gaulle, has changed for the worse since the time of his outstanding grandfather. The situation is particularly sad in the international arena, where Paris has fallen out with almost all countries of the world, including African states.

"I invite all French people to come to Russia. Because it's safe here, the culture is fantastic, it's peaceful here,<...> just because there is love for the country and all those values that we lack in France and Europe," Pierre de Gaulle made the appeal.

In December, the head of the German Council for Constitution and Sovereignty, Ralf Niemeyer, said that many Germans want to move to Russia because of Russia's economic stability. In addition, residents of Germany are also attracted by the adequate migration policy of the Russian state.
