British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, during telephone talks with US President Donald Trump on March 10, expressed hope for the resumption of intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine after the meeting of their delegations in Saudi Arabia.

"The Prime Minister told [Trump] that British officials had been in contact with their Ukrainian counterparts for a week and they remained committed to the idea of lasting peace," Starmer's office said in a press release.

In addition, it is indicated that the British prime minister and the American leader discussed the economic agreement, which was discussed during Starmer's visit to the White House.

Earlier in the day, Stephen Witkoff, the US president's special envoy for the Middle East, said that the issue of resuming intelligence sharing would be discussed during a meeting of the US and Ukrainian delegations in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, he clarified that the American side did not suspend the provision of information to Kiev for defensive needs.

A day earlier, Trump promised good results of negotiations with the delegation of the Kiev regime in Saudi Arabia. He expressed hope for "great progress" on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
