The doctor named the plants that cause allergies in the spring

Pollinosis is an allergic reaction to plant pollen, manifested by inflammation of the mucous membrane of the oropharynx, respiratory tract and eyes. On March 11, Victoria Galyas, an allergist and immunologist, a children's specialist at the Semeynaya clinic network, told Izvestia about which tree pollen causes it.
She noted that this year the heat came early enough.
"The trees are beginning to bloom first, and alder pollen is already being detected in the air, which will soon be joined by hazel and birch, the main enemy among the trees. The other trees also add pollen concentrations to the air, but these three trees are the main culprit of spring pollinosis," Galyas said.
According to the specialist, in the absence of proper therapy, hay fever can develop into bronchial asthma.
"Unfortunately, every year the number of people suffering from this disease is growing, complaints can begin to manifest themselves from the age of two in children and at any age in adults," the allergist-immunologist emphasized.
She advised that you should definitely visit an allergist if a person begins to experience symptoms characteristic of hay fever. According to her, you can consult a doctor in advance to start pre—season training, which will help minimize complaints, and even better, in the fall to start treatment, because pollen allergies are very successfully treated.
On March 4, Natalia Ilyina, First Vice President and General Director of the Russian Association of Allergologists and Clinical Immunologists (RAAKI), stated in the Izvestia News Center that a quarter of the Russian population has an allergic disease. According to her, a huge number of citizens have not been diagnosed with allergies.
