A system for checking ads for the sale of special equipment will be launched in Russia

Avito Special Equipment is introducing a new ad verification tool in conjunction with the Rososmotr platform, which specializes in remote inspection of property and real estate. The system will allow buyers to verify the authenticity of the offers and the reliability of the seller, and will help bona fide dealers to become more visible, the company's press service said.

At the initial stage, verification will be carried out for new special equipment in the categories of "Tractor units" and "Trucks". Verified offers will be marked with special badges.

The verification mechanism consists of three stages. First of all, the system checks the information about the real location of the vehicle, which it receives during an offline inspection, with the address indicated in the ad. The algorithm also determines the make, model, and modification of special equipment. The final stage is the verification of the seller, after which the ad receives the marks "In stock" and "Real address". This innovation will help customers to make the search for equipment more accurate, faster and more useful, and the transaction safer.

Avito Special Equipment was the first classifieds to implement such a system, said Timur Osipov, head of the Special Equipment department at Avito. According to him, the verification guarantees the authenticity of the ads and the accuracy of the data.

For dealers, this is an opportunity to strengthen their reputation, stand out from competitors and attract more customers. As a result, the market becomes more transparent, the risks of unfair practices are reduced, and the environment for transactions is more reliable and efficient for all participants," he said.

Avito Special Equipment is a platform for the search, sale and rental of commercial vehicles and special equipment. According to the platform, about 500,000 ads have been published in the Trucks and Special Equipment section, and more than 1.2 million users visit the section per day.
