Sobyanin spoke about the opening of a sports complex in the Alekseevsky district of Moscow

A new Steel sports complex has opened in the Alekseevsky district of the capital, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel.

The new sports complex, located on Pavel Korchagin Street, will have two swimming pools, one of which is a 50-meter pool with a steel bowl. The building also has a general physical training room and a medical unit. It is planned to hold classes in water polo, fitness, wellness gymnastics, yoga and physical therapy. There will also be aerobics for adults and choreography for children.

"The sports complex was built in just 1.5 years. Terracotta panels were used in the facade cladding. They provide good noise insulation and withstand different temperature conditions," Sergei Sobyanin said.

The mayor of the capital also noted that in recent years, much has been done in the Alekseevsky district of Moscow to improve the quality of life. In particular, comprehensive reconstruction of branch No. 4 of the consultative and diagnostic center No. 2 and branch No. 2 of the children's polyclinic No. 99 and landscaping of the squares on Rocket Boulevard and in Rizhsky Passage were carried out here. A sports complex of boarding school No. 1 for blind children was also built on the territory of the district.
