- The political scientist estimated the likelihood of the resumption of U.S. aid to Ukraine

The United States will decide whether to resume assistance to Ukraine based on a large number of factors, and much will depend on whether the Ukrainian leadership is able to engage in a respectful dialogue. This opinion was expressed by the American political scientist Rafael Ordukhanyan on Monday, March 10.
"Let's also not forget about the enormous European pressure on Ukraine, which is going to replace some kind of US aid. So absolutely any decisions can be made on the part of Washington regarding the resumption of support," the political scientist said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

The political scientist added that regarding the support of Ukraine, the United States will act as it is convenient for them at a particular moment, without relying on previous statements.
"A wide range of issues will be discussed at the talks between Russia and the United States: This is both the Pacific region and the Iranian program. So, some steps regarding Ukraine will certainly be taken before this dialogue," concluded the American expert.
On March 9, the Financial Times (FT) newspaper reported that Ukraine wants to offer a "partial ceasefire" at future talks in Saudi Arabia in order to convince the United States to provide military assistance to Kiev again, RT reports.
The sources of the publication also stated that "in the short term" Kiev hopes to establish relations with the United States. 360.ru . It can also be regarded as a favor in exchange for restoring the transfer of military aid and intelligence to Ukraine.
In turn, The Economist wrote that the negotiations between Washington and Kiev this week may be the last chance for Ukraine.
It is noted that the stakes for the power of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the negotiations are "higher than ever," and in case of failure, Kiev "is unlikely to get another chance," writes Pravda.Ru .
