Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the establishment of a business support line for veterans of the special military operation (SVO). The relevant decree was published on March 8 on the Kremlin's website.

"As part of the implementation of the social contract program, establish a separate line of support for combat veterans who participated in a special military operation in order for them to carry out business activities, while providing for an increase in funding for the state social assistance program based on the social contract," the publication says.

Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, is responsible for the execution of the order, and the deadline is set for March 30 of this year.

At a meeting with the families of the participants on March 6, Putin called for providing all kinds of assistance from the first days, including psychological, to the relatives of the dead and injured heroes. At the same time, the president proposed to introduce a common standard of support in the country for the families of participants in the special operation to protect Donbass. According to the Russian leader, the regions will be able to add their own measures to the general standard of support.
