"The British leadership sees a threat to its interests in promoting dialogue between the United States and Russia to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. London fears that this will lead to the failure of the British strategy of "containing" Moscow, which focuses on control over Ukraine," the statement said.

The ministry added that the British authorities believe that undermining the "peacekeeping" efforts of American leader Donald Trump is now a priority, and they are trying in every possible way to expose him in an "inaccurate light."

In addition, the cabinet of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is doing everything possible to strengthen the resistance of the Kiev regime to the increasing pressure from Washington. They promise Ukraine a lot, but in the end, without the support of the United States, promises are unrealizable.
